Cocoon
- an antistress concept. The cocoons are intended to provide a simple and
accessible solution to shelter us from a stressful, intense environment filled
with impressions.
They should be used in public spaces, where pressure is high and where it's
difficult to escape and take a break.
The"cocoon
chair" provides a space in which you can relax, read, prepare a lecture, or
even fall asleep. It can be used at the airport, office, library, or in any
indoor public space.
Material: Steelwire, washed silk (natural fibre=breathes)
The
"cocoonmask" instead is a portable version that can be taken anywhere. It folds
up and comes in its own bag: an individual personal relaxation sheath. It can
be used on the train, at the airport, in the office, library or any public space.
Material: Tricot (which breathes), plastic rods Colour: White
"Protective
shawl". Another way of protecting yourself, but not in such a drastic way as
the cocoons. The idea is to see but not be seen. It's made up of a skeleton
of polypropylene rods, integrated into the fabric. The projection is quite sculptural.
Material: Thin voile, plastic rods. Colours: powder pink and soft grey.
"Quick five" wall-mounted
seat. Is also to be used in public spaces - waiting areas, along with the headcocoon.
You take a quick five! The way of sitting/leaning prevents you from dozing off.
Material: Lacquered steelwire tube and rubber.
